Elevating the Learner Experience

We are continuously looking at the latest technological advancements and scientific research to improve our learner experience on the platform. Below is a quick breakdown of our most recent product updates, including a sneak peek into our upcoming enhancements and partnerships.  

1. Activity Library, now available in all commonly requested European languages!

We’re excited to announce that our Activity Library feature is now available in all our most commonly requested languages – English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.

Empowering learners to take ownership and personalize their learning journey is paramount to us. If learners wish to practice specific aspects of grammar and pronunciation, or certain skills and topics, they can now easily search through our library of on-demand, bite-sized activity modules to find what they need. They can also include previously completed activities in their search results for additional consolidation and practice.

2. Live session enhancements to improve user experience

Our learners asked, and we’ve listened. Here are some of our latest product enhancements directly responding to learner feedback:

  • Simplified session preparation – Live session preparation activities are now visible directly from the Homepage. Learners can see exactly what is left for them to complete ahead of their live sessions, maximizing the effectiveness of their blended learning program.
  • Improved session report management – Back by popular demand! Session Reports are now downloadable, allowing learners to access their new vocabulary and trainer feedback on- and off-line for a true anytime, anywhere learning consolidation experience.

A sneak peek at upcoming features

1. Improved in-app support

Getting support exactly when and where it’s needed, without having to go refer to e-mailssignificantly improves the user experience and helps keep learners focused on the task at hand – learning!

In the coming months, we will implement a new in-app support system offering learners guidance at the right place and time. From understanding how a language level is assigned, to cancelling a live session with a trainer, our Digital Assistant will offer guidance in the learner’s interface language, ensuring always-on support in understanding key areas of the platform whenever the need arises.

2. Magazine activities with AIpowered multimedia

We are upgrading our Magazine activities with AI-powered tools that transform text and image-based articles into comprehensive, avatar-based multimedia. The goal is to offer a richer, more immersive learning experience through our supplementary features. Picture this: 

In other news: Partnership with Johns Hopkins University Masters in Product Management Program

After a successful pilot collaboration with Johns Hopkins University’s Product Management Master’s program last year, Learnlight has been invited back for a second semester! Through this collaboration, we are providing the next generation of product leaders with opportunities to develop their skills via hands-on, real-life projects. In turn, students help us improve our products and user experiences through independent research and validation. Projects so far have heavily focused on impactful social learning and user experience.

We look forward to discovering the invaluable insights that arise from this continued cooperation, ensuring the most impactful developments get directly into the hands of our learners.
