santalucía’s training solutions



Learnlight and santalucía have worked collaboratively to develop a language training program that focuses on meeting both the organizational objectives and individual learners’ needs.

santalucía’s starting point was a purely face-to-face training model. Learnlight was fully aware that a radical change of direction might cause resistance and a reluctance to engage. With this in mind, Learnlight devised a clear program featuring well-structured pedagogical roadmaps and blending eLearning, virtual and face-to-face methodologies. This led to a seamless transition from face-to-face training to dynamic blended learning.

Online and virtual methodologies have allowed the group to expand their training to a larger number of learners both in Spain and around the globe. Meanwhile, face-to-face classes are offered exclusively at the group’s headquarters in Madrid.

All learners completed an initial level test to measure their speaking and writing skills and levels of comprehension. From that baseline, Learnlight’s in-house experts created a pedagogical program using the most suitable methodology to meet the participants’ needs.

  • eLearning program

Flexible by design, this self-study solution is ideal for Modern Learners, who are typically time poor. Each participant decides how and when they wanted to receive training. This is the default program for beginners.

  • Virtual one-to-one program

Virtual classes delivered by an expert trainer, including the option to reschedule classes. This is the chosen program for intermediate and advanced learners.

  • Face-to-face group program and one-to-one program

A winning combination of digital materials plus a traditional class guided by an expert trainer. Learnlight sorted learners into groups based on their level and availability. The one-to-one method is offered only to those learners whose job demands or specific needs warrant this type of training.

Right from the outset all participants knew what their program would be, what was expected of them and what path they would need to follow in order to meet their goals.

All participants have 24/7 access to the Learnlight platform. They can log in to check their progress, complete activities or even browse through Learnlight Magazine, which contains exciting articles on a wide range of topics.
