Benjamin Joseph commented: “We are enormously proud to receive the prestigious Chief Learning Officer Gold Award for the best use of blended learning for our partnership with Deutsche Telekom. This reward is a true recognition of the digital transformation that Deutsche Telekom and Learnlight have delivered to the telecommunication organization’s global language training program.”

The Learnlight and Deutsche Telekom Partnership

Learnlight became Deutsche Telekom’s sole provider of blended English language training services in 2016 as part of their global language digital transformation initiative. Learnlight’s language training solutions are now integrated into Deutsche Telekom’s Learning Management System (LMS), giving their employees the freedom to design personal learning experiences according to their individual needs.

The Learning in Practice Gold Award for Blended Learning is testament to the Learnlight and Deutsche Telekom partnership. Learnlight’s blended learning program has fundamentally improved the English skills of Deutsche Telekom’s workforce, enhanced cross-border team and client communication and considerably reduced their annual training spend. Since launching Learnlight’s blended program more than 50 Deutsche Telekom countries are now unified under one global language training solution.

This is not the first time that Learnlight’s Blended Learning programs have been recognized. Earlier this year Learnlight received an honorable mention at the International E-Learning Awards for its innovative Blended Soft Skills solution.

Learnlight is unique in its sector for offering a truly blended learning approach not just for language training, but also for over 200 soft skills programs which cover Communication, Personal, Virtual, Management and Intercultural Skills.
